What would happen to the internet in a zombie apocalypse?

I'm watching The Last of Us and wondering if we'd still have internet 30 years into a zombie apocalypse.

Would the DNS still be up? Would we be able to ping ip addresses directly? Would our iPhones be completely useless? Would cell towers still work? What would break down and what would still be usable?
